On Wednesday, April 9, former Mineral Point High School standout Liam Stumpf’s current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The game took place at McLane Baseball Stadium at John H. Kobs Field. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Skeeles Field against Akron Zips.
