Sauk County Highway Department announces temporary closure of CTH GG for road construction

The Sauk County Highway Department announced on May 18 that CTH GG in the Township of Franklin, between Whitemound Drive and STH 23, will be closed to all traffic for road construction on Wednesday, May 20 and Thursday, May 21 from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. The department said that the road will reopen to traffic after 3:30 p.m. each day.

The closure is intended to allow crews to safely complete necessary construction work along this stretch of roadway. Officials advised residents and motorists to plan alternate routes during the posted hours of closure.
