FOIA Request to Town of Wayne Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at SW Wisconsin News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for records of new voter registrations that took place on November 5, 2024.
As media professionals, access to public records is crucial for us to fulfill our responsibilities which include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. We believe that this information will help us in disseminating important information regarding the recent elections and the voting patterns in our community.
