FOIA Request to Village Of Cobb Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in local government affairs, we at SW Wisconsin News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024.
This request is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs. Access to public records such as these allows us to hold public institutions accountable and provide essential transparency to the public.
We have requested that these records be provided in an electronic format for ease of access and analysis. As a media organization, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver due to our role in disseminating information to the public.
