The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association announced on Mar. 18 the Division 2 girls basketball all-state team for 2026, highlighting standout performances from players across the state.
The announcement recognizes top athletes who made significant contributions to their teams during the season. The selections include both first-time and repeat honorees, reflecting a range of talent in Wisconsin high school basketball.
Anna Miller of Edgewood and Leah Nordin of Shawano were named to the all-state team for the third time. Miller led Edgewood to a sectional semifinal with averages of 19.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 3.2 steals per game, helping her team secure a 20-7 record and two state tournament appearances in recent years. Nordin guided Shawano to an 18-10 record and a sectional final while averaging 26 points and collecting over 2,000 career points and more than 1,000 rebounds.
Other repeat first-team selections include Rowan Counsell of Whitefish Bay, Brynn Krull of Xavier, Adaline Sheplee of Rice Lake, and Beanie Thompson of Edgewood. Counsell helped Whitefish Bay win its first state championship in program history with averages of 21 points per game. Krull led Xavier to a strong season with nearly 18 points per contest. Sheplee was a finalist for Ms. Basketball after leading Rice Lake to the state tournament and finishing her career with over 2,171 points.
Additional honorees are Nataya Donaldson (Beaver Dam), Kyrin Lile (Elkhorn), Sage Miskel (Whitefish Bay), Kaelyn Nommensen (Wisconsin Lutheran), Addison Schmidt (Rice Lake), Alahnna Simpson (La Crosse Central), as well as several honorable mention recipients from schools across Wisconsin.
The WBCA’s annual recognition highlights individual excellence within high school sports while also drawing attention to the achievements of teams throughout the season.
