CITY OF BARABOO: Festival Foods Fireworks Show will happen in Baraboo

Parade

City of Baraboo recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Baraboo and Festival Foods are excited to announce that the Festival Foods Fireworks will continue this year! The Festival Foods Fireworks will start at approximately 9:45 PM on July 4. The site of the launch is the same as in years past: east of Lincoln Avenue, behind the Meat Market. The fireworks display will be aerial only, no ground show as in prior years. The entire fireworks display should be visible from a large portion of the City. The Sauk County Fairgrounds will not be open to viewing of the fireworks.

Starting around 8:00 PM, there will be a medium height firework shot off approximately every 15 minutes to help people know if they are in a location where they can view the fireworks.

This Independence Day may look a bit different from those of the past, so please continue to watch for more details to come. You can visit FestivalFoodsFireworks.com for updated information, in addition to the City of Baraboo’s Facebook page.

The full fireworks show will also air live on Baraboo Cable channels 10 & 982, Antenna Channel 43 and will be live-streamed on 99.7 MAX FM’s Facebook page for the virtual experience.

As a reminder, please follow these recommendations:

 Practice Social Distancing

 Park in legal parking stalls

 Do not encroach on driveway entrances

 Any firework that “goes up and blows up” is illegal for personal use in the State of Wisconsin

Thank you for your patience as we plan to provide you the safest and most responsible fireworks show. Enjoy a safe and happy July 4th Holiday!
