Highland ranked 257th in Wisconsin for resident earnings in 2018

Highland ranked 257th among cities in Wisconsin by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Highland residents was $31,950 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 399 households with a population of 986.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Lac La Belle with $71,250 per year after adjusting for inflation – $39,300 more than Highland. It had 107 households with a population of 287.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Whitewater with $9,187 per year after adjusting for inflation – $22,763 less than Highland. It had 4,616 households with a population of 14,766.
