Lancaster is the GOAT- Downtown Art Installation

Goat

Issued the following announcement.

our an exciting new public art installation celebrating downtown with vibrant pieces of art from our local middle and high school youth. Student artists used their talents to create original, humorous, and uplifting artwork that is designed to surprise and delight.

Visually, it’s sure to draw people downtown. Residents and visitors are invited to take the goat tour as a great way to get out on the town for an utterly unique experience!

The 20 goat herd will be on display downtown on the square June-October. Some goats will be auctioned off at the end of the season with proceeds going to the Art Department. Follow us on Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook as we share more information about the student creators and goat bios throughout the summer.

Special thanks to Saputo for their generous support of this community project, in conjunction with the Lancaster Middle and High School, Chamber of Commerce, an
