We’re off to see the Wizard! Over ten generations have grown up loving this classic tale of an enchanted land – first as a beloved children’s book, then as an iconic Hollywood film. Now The Fireside is bringing you an exciting stage adaptation of this legendary musical. It’s all there – good witches, wicked witches, munchkins, a cowardly lion in search of courage, a tin man in search of a heart, a scarecrow in search of a brain, and a young girl from Kansas in search of home. It’s a show for the entire family filled with eye-popping costumes, rib-tickling humor, breath-taking adventure, and an immortal musical score including one of the greatest hit songs in musical history – “Over the Rainbow.” So this summer, just follow the yellow brick road to The Fireside.
We have wonderful seats in rows 1, 2, 3 & 4. For lunch you’ll begin with Tomato Bisque topped with Asiago Cheese Croutons and Freshly Baked Breads followed by the option of: PRETZEL CRUSTED STUFFED CHICKEN – Skinless Breast of Chicken stuffed with Havarti Cheese, dipped in egg, rolled in Pretzel Crumbs, sautéed to a golden brown and baked, served with a Balsamic Raspberry Sauce. Served with Scalloped Potatoes and Broccolini;
BARBECUED RIBS – A Half Rack of our Signature Lean Pork Back Ribs glazed with our special Barbecue Sauce, slowly roasted until the tender meat falls from the bone. Served with Scalloped Potatoes and Broccolini;
SHRIMP TEMPURA – Four Large Gulf Shrimp, butterflied and dipped in our special beer batter then deep fried to a golden brown. Served with Brandied Apricot and Red Cocktail Sauces and accompanied by Scalloped Potatoes and Broccolini. For dessert enjoy a Blueberry Lemon Curd Tart, a refreshing mix of Blueberries and Lemon Curd in a Shortbread Crust. Coffee, Tea, and Milk. ENTRÉE CHOICE MUST BE MADE AT SIGN-UP. Minimal walking.
