2021 has 2.5% of Sauk County residents unemployed

Sauk County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 874 people out of the 65,428 living in Sauk County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Sauk County has increased compared to the 2.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Sauk County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 34,358 people who had a job during that time, 22 were employed in the Armed Forces and 34,336 belonged to the civilian labor force.
