FOIA Request to Lafayette County Regarding Vendor Payments in 2024 on September 26, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at SW Wisconsin News have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to Lafayette County. The request, sent on September 26, 2024, seeks a list of all payments made to vendors from January 1, 2024, till the date of the request.
The requested records include specific fields such as vendor name, transaction date, transaction description, and amount. This information is essential for us to continue our work in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
