The Chamber recently celebrated a milestone anniversary at the Baraboo Arts Center on January 23, with more than 250 attendees. The event marked either the organization's 75th or 100th birthday, as research by the Sauk County Historical Society suggested an earlier formation date than initially recorded.

During the gathering, MBE CPAs received the Business of the Year award. Chamber Executive Director George Althoff highlighted the company's local roots and success in building a network of affiliates. "This company is a great example of what it means to be a thriving local business that never forgets its roots," he stated.

Owner Tim Moy reflected on their beginnings: “There was no plan, when we just started with three people, trying to do the right thing every day.”

Al’s Fox Hill RV Resort & Campground earned the Tourism Award for its improvements under Aaron and Haley Eickhorst's ownership. Sauk County Board Chairman Tim McCumber praised their efforts: “Their innovative events...have significantly boosted the business’ appeal."

First United Methodist Church received recognition for community service through various charitable activities. Pastor Cathy Christman remarked, “If you need something done, go talk to the Methodists.”

The Sauk County Children’s Giving Tree was awarded Nonprofit of the Year for providing essential items to children in need. Volunteer Bonnie Palm expressed dedication: “We live and breathe this, usually from September until Christmas.” Deb Turner acknowledged community support: “We couldn’t do it without you guys.”

The Baraboo Hills ATV/UTV Club won the President’s Award for advocating off-road vehicle access in Baraboo. Club president Bob Spencer said they aim to offer an alternative social activity.

Individual accolades went to Danna Klicko as Rising Star and Yengkong “Kong” Thao as Ambassador of the Year.

Attendees enjoyed refreshments from several local vendors and participated in a raffle organized by The Jewelers Edge. Incoming board president Shelley Mordini emphasized community support: "That’s what Baraboo has always been about to me."
