The Chamber of Commerce is calling for volunteers to assist in two major upcoming events: the Big Top Parade and the Chamber Golf Classic. The parade, scheduled for Saturday, June 14, promises a "star-spangled celebration" with various festivities, including bands, clowns, and circus wagons. Volunteers are needed for several roles, including corner guards, staging area coordinators, shuttle parking lot staff, and cleanup crews. Volunteer shifts vary in duration, with duties commencing as early as 9 a.m.

Meanwhile, the Chamber Golf Classic will take place on Tuesday, June 24, at Baraboo Country Club. The outing, which will involve over 150 golfers, has Baraboo State Bank, Tumbled Rock Brewery & Kitchen, and Sysco Foods as its presenting, beverage, and buffet sponsors, respectively. Volunteers for the golf event are required for tasks throughout the day, starting at 9 a.m. and ending around 7 p.m.

In related news, filming for the Discover Real Baraboo segment by Discover Wisconsin is set to begin later this year. The show, produced by Discover Mediaworks and to be hosted by Lindsey Hayes, is expected to air in the spring of 2026. Hayes, who is familiar with the Sauk County area, expressed enthusiasm for the project. This program aims to reach audiences across multiple platforms, including social media and television, in six states.
