Richland Center, WI – Sarah Stibbe, a resident of Richland Center, has been honored with the 2025 Rural Health Ambassador Award at The Richland Hospital and Clinics. This award is presented annually by the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC) to recognize hospital employees who have made significant contributions to rural health care.
Stibbe holds the roles of Administrative Assistant for Patient Care and Volunteer Program Director. She has revitalized "Club Scrub," an educational program for middle school students about health care professions. Additionally, she works with local schools to provide volunteer opportunities for teens and school-to-work programs for high school students at The Richland Hospital and Clinics. Stibbe also supports fundraising events and organizes holiday giving trees.
Her dedication has been acknowledged by colleagues, as reflected in one nomination: “The saying ‘see a need, lend a hand’ defines Sarah’s willingness to help others…The best part of her support is it is always given with a smile and a get-it-done attitude.”
Upon receiving the award, Stibbe expressed gratitude: “Thank you for believing in me, and allowing me to work here, and in the community,” she said.
The Richland Hospital and Clinics provides compassionate care across three locations in Richland County. It includes rural health clinics in Muscoda and Spring Green, along with primary facilities in Richland Center.
The RWHC established this award to honor employees who promote their organizations beyond regular duties. The selection process considers fostering positive communication within service areas rather than focusing solely on job performance or tenure.
