The Baraboo Area Chamber of Commerce is set to host its annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 20, at Circus World. The event will begin with Fest Masters Pete and Rebecca Oettinger tapping the golden keg at 3:30 p.m., followed by performances from the BaraBrew WisconSing Beer Choir and Griffy Jim and the Polka Dots. Chicago dance/rock band Electro Retro will headline the event, performing from 7-9 p.m.
George Althoff, Executive Director of the Baraboo Area Chamber of Commerce, expressed excitement about the lineup, stating, “We are delighted to bring these musicians, who have loyal followings in the Baraboo Area and beyond, to our fourth annual Oktoberfest.”
The festival will feature Oktoberfest beers from Tumbled Rock Brewery, Al. Ringling Brewing, and Pals Brewing. Additionally, Baraboo Bluff and Balanced Rock wineries will offer their selections alongside food trucks serving traditional Oktoberfest fare.
Fairfield Inn & Suites – Baraboo is presenting this year's event. According to Althoff, "We plan to build on the audience we’ve had in past years and make Oktoberfest a signature event on par with our Big Top Parade."
Admission buttons are available for $10 in advance at the Chamber’s Visitor Center located at 600 W. Chestnut St., West Baraboo. They will be priced at $12 on September 20.
