Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Nov. 2
I got the COVID-19 vaccine when I was pregnant with Reyna. I had no doubt that I would get the vaccine for myself, but being pregnant, I really wanted to make sure it was the right decision for both me and my baby. Initially, I was hesitant. I truly was, but I did some research and I talked to my OB and when I got all the facts, I decided that the benefits far outweighed any risks, and I became very confident in my decision.
Also, the vaccine built antibodies in my body, which may help protect my baby from COVID-19 too.
Getting the COVID-19 vaccine was important to me in helping the community be stronger and healthier. There are many places you can get it, and there is no cost to you.
