Hermsen's Ace Hardware & Home Center is holding a weekend celebration event to commemorate its 80th anniversary.
Located at 447 Canal St. in Bloomington, Hermsen's Ace Hardware & Home Center will celebrate its anniversary with sales throughout the store until Saturday.
"We are celebrating our 80th anniversary this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Giveaways each day -- Vesperman Farms Ice Cream Truck on Friday -- and great prices and promos all three days," Hermsen's Ace Hardware said in a Monday Facebook post.
As part of the celebration, Vesperman Farms Ice Cream Truck will be available to customers with free ice cream going to the first 80 people. The ice cream truck will be at Hermsen's Ace Hardware from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday.
In addition, the store is offering a huge sale on flooring, including carpet and luxury vinyl plank. Customers can also take advantage of summer mark-down prices on patio sets and garden decor.
Shoppers can stop in and enter for the chance to win prizes that include a Yeti Roadie Cooler, valued at $275, or a Paint-a-Room Makeover, valued at $125.
"We carry a full line of hand and power tools featuring name brands such as Craftsman, Toro, Black & Decker, DeWalt, Milwaukee and Ego," Hermsen's Ace Hardware & Home Center website reads. "Whether you just need to replace a hammer or require specialty tools for your construction business, we have it all. We have everything from nuts and bolts to shovels and rakes to lawn mowers and wet/dry vacs."
