Sauk Prairie Healthcare's Diabetes Prevention and Lifestyle Change session is a four-month course for people at-risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes that helps participants move away from dangerous blood sugar levels. Through the support of our diabetes educator, registered dieticians and wellness experts, participants will be guided on food and exercise choices that will increase overall health and establish positive eating habits. Classes will be held from 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning September 14 at Sauk Prairie Healthcare's main campus, and a virtual option will also be available. The cost for the program is $130 and includes a Wellspring membership for the duration of the program. Sauk Prairie Healthcare employees receive a 50 percent discount.
