Upland Hills Health is set to unveil its new Mount Horeb Urgent Care and renovated family practice clinic with an open house event. The facilities will officially open to patients on January 13, but residents of Mount Horeb are invited to preview the updated space on January 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will feature tours, opportunities to meet healthcare providers, and refreshments.

Dr. Joseph Berg, a primary care physician at the clinic and a resident of Mount Horeb, expressed his enthusiasm for the updates: “It’s been such a privilege to care for this community over the past 10 years, and I’m so excited about the updates to our clinic,” he said. “The new space is more welcoming and efficient. With the addition of urgent care and X-ray services, we’re addressing a real need for accessible care right here at home.”

The Urgent Care facility in Mount Horeb is unique in the area and staffed by Madison Emergency Physicians. This group also provides services at SSM Health St. Mary’s Emergency Room and Upland Hills Health Emergency Room in Dodgeville.

Lisa Schnedler, President and CEO of Upland Hills Health, commented on the expansion: “We are proud to expand our commitment to Mount Horeb with these new and improved facilities,” she stated. “Our family practice has experienced unprecedented growth over the past few years, and we’re excited to continue to answer the call for service and grow with this community.”

The clinic offers various services including family medicine, imaging, an OB/Gyn clinic, as well as other specialty services. The family practice operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while Urgent Care is available Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 a.m., and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
