The Richland Hospital and Clinics recently hosted a career fair aimed at high school students from Ithaca, Richland Center, and Riverdale School Districts. The event took place on March 13 and attracted 30 students eager to learn about potential careers in health care.
During the event, students had the opportunity to engage with professionals across various departments. They explored roles such as doctors, nurses, lab technicians, radiologists, and administrative staff. Additionally, the participants were given tours of the facilities to gain insight into the daily operations of a rural hospital and clinic.
Sarah Stibbe, one of the key organizers from The Richland Hospital and Clinics, expressed her hopes for the event: “I hope this session inspired many students to consider careers in health care. It’s good to help them understand how rural hospitals provide essential services to their communities.”
The Richland Hospital and Clinics is known for its dedication to caring for residents in the greater Richland County area. With a history spanning 100 years, it operates an independent medical practice across three locations. These include rural health clinics in Spring Green and Muscoda as well as a critical access hospital located in Richland Center.
