Beginning March 24, the renovation project at The Richland Hospital and Clinics will extend into the Emergency Department. This phase is expected to last through mid-May. Bruce Roesler, CEO of The Richland Hospital and Clinics, stated, “This deferred maintenance list includes things like replacing countertops and flooring.” Although efforts have been made to minimize patient inconvenience, some impacts on wait times are potentially unavoidable.

The hospital is recognized for exceeding state performance in Emergency Department efficiency, a standard they aim to maintain throughout the renovation. Community patience is appreciated as the renovations proceed. Additional updates will be provided if service delivery is affected.

The Richland Hospital and Clinics has been providing compassionate care for 100 years to residents of the greater Richland County area. It operates an independent, integrated group medical practice in three locations, including rural health clinics in Spring Green and Muscoda, as well as a critical access hospital at its primary location in Richland Center, WI.
