Upland Hills Health (UHH) has once again been recognized for its high standards of cleanliness, earning a place on Becker’s prestigious list of hospitals with a 5-star cleanliness rating. This recognition places UHH among 374 hospitals nationwide and one of 30 in Wisconsin to achieve this accolade.
The designation is based on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) patient survey results, evaluating inpatient hospital stay experiences from April 2023 to March 2024. This recognition follows UHH receiving the same honor the previous year.
“We are committed to providing the safest and best possible experience for every patient that enters our clinics, our hospital, our nursing and rehab center, our medical equipment store, or who invites us into their home through Home Care or Hospice services.”
Upland Hills Health’s President and CEO, Lisa Schnedler, commented, “our entire team takes enormous pride in creating a clean, safe, and comforting environment for our patients. Cleanliness is not just a matter of appearance—it’s foundational to infection prevention, patient comfort, and overall experience. Being recognized repeatedly by this national outlet is a testament to the attention and care our staff brings to every corner of our facility.”
