Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, is set to host a gala auction on June 28 from 4-6 pm at its location on Shake Rag Street. The event will feature both live and silent auctions with contributions from local artists and the Shake Rag Alley community. Attendees can expect works from artists such as Beth Bird, Kate Church, Max Fernekes, Helen Shafer Garcia, Nathan Gieseke, Caitlin Leline Hatch, Beth Hobby, Bruce Howdle, Todd Kingery, Christie McNab, Bob Potter, Randall Henry Reimer, Roland Sardeson, Alfred Stark, and Janet Vetter.
The auction will also include etchings by Salvador Dalí and Albrecht Dürer among others. Unique experiences like a master pie-making session with Mike Christensen and a private knife skills class with Nicole Bujewski will be available for bidding. Live music by Driftless Standard Time and refreshments from Café 43 will accompany the event.
Shake Rag Alley aims to use the proceeds to support its mission of providing educational experiences in various art forms while preserving its historic campus. Sponsors for the event include Cummins Emission Solutions and Wisconsin Electrical Service LLC.

In addition to the gala auction, Shake Rag Alley has several upcoming events including an embroidered clothing embellishment workshop on June 18 and Roland Sardeson Day on June 20. These events are part of a broader effort to engage the community in artistic activities throughout the year.
