Rep. Tony Kurtz, a Republican representing Wisconsin's 41st House district, recently shared several posts on social media highlighting local events and community service in his district.
On August 16, 2025, Kurtz marked a food-related observance by posting, "Today is National Bratwurst Day! Fire up the grill! What do you put on your brat?"
Two days later, on August 18, 2025, he recognized the work of local emergency responders with a post stating, "In WI & the 41st, the majority of firefighters are volunteers who take time out of their life- work day, family time, to respond to help their neighbors in a time of need. We’re grateful for your service & dedication to keeping our communities and loved ones safe!"
On August 19, 2025, Kurtz acknowledged another special occasion by writing, "Happy National Aviation Day to my fellow pilots!"
Kurtz was elected to the Wisconsin State House in 2025 and succeeded Alex Dallman as representative for the state's 41st House district. Many rural areas in Wisconsin rely heavily on volunteer firefighters for emergency response services.
