FOIA Request to Village of LA Farge Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
We at SW Wisconsin News have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024. This request was made as part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.
As a media organization, we believe in the importance of holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Access to public records is essential for us to fulfill these professional responsibilities.
In line with this mission, we have requested that the data be provided in an electronic format for ease of access and analysis. Given our role in disseminating information to the public, we have also requested a fee waiver as a media professional.
We await the response from Village of LA Farge and look forward to sharing this information with our readers once it becomes available.
