Baraboo School District Education: 2,598 students were enrolled in schools in 2024-25 school year

There were 2,598 students enrolled in Baraboo School District in the 2024-25 school year, 4.1% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 52.3% identified themselves as boys, 47.7% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 76.1% of the Baraboo School District total enrollment.

Baraboo School District covers nine schools within Sauk County, with its main office in Baraboo.

Among the nine schools in the district, Baraboo High School recorded the highest enrollment of 885 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
