Westby Area School District Education: 1,007 students were enrolled in schools in 2024-25 school year

There were 1,007 students enrolled in Westby Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 1.2% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.2% identified themselves as boys, 49.8% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 93.6% of the Westby Area School District total enrollment.

Westby Area School District covers six schools within Vernon County, with its main office in Westby.

Among the six schools in the district, Westby High School recorded the highest enrollment of 319 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
