There were 223 students enrolled in Benton School District in the 2024-25 school year, 2.3% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.2% identified themselves as boys, 49.8% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 91.9% of the Benton School District total enrollment.

Benton School District covers three schools within Lafayette County, with its main office in Benton.

Among the three schools in the district, Benton Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 131 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
