Enrollment at Lancaster Community School District decreased by 0.8% compared to previous school year

There were 991 students enrolled in Lancaster Community School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.4% identified themselves as boys, 49.6% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 93.4% of the Lancaster Community School District total enrollment.

Lancaster Community School District covers three schools within Grant County, with its main office in Lancaster.

Among the three schools in the district, Winskill Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 435 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
