The Richland Hospital and Clinics in Richland Center, Wisconsin, has received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Award. This recognition highlights the hospital's efforts to provide timely and evidence-based stroke care.

According to the organization, "This prestigious recognition reflects the organization’s unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality stroke care that’s fast, evidence-based, and patient-centered. Every minute matters when treating stroke, and the Emergency Department, along with the entire care team, consistently meets national benchmarks to ensure the best possible outcomes."

The award is particularly significant for rural communities such as Richland County and its surrounding areas. The hospital acknowledged its staff by stating, "Thank you to the Emergency Department and entire staff for their focus on giving patients the best possible chance for recovery and survival."

The Richland Hospital and Clinics has served residents of greater Richland County for over a century. It operates three locations: rural health clinics in Muscoda and Spring Green, as well as a clinic, pharmacy, and critical care services at its main center in Richland Center.
