Baraboo is highlighting its autumn attractions, drawing attention to the area's natural scenery and local businesses. The region's rolling hills and forests in the Driftless Region are a key feature, with Devil’s Lake State Park offering hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing. Visitors who reach the bluffs can see views of the Baraboo Hills’ fall foliage.

Ski Hi Fruit Farm provides apple picking and a petting zoo, while charity groups offer grilled bratwurst on weekends. Shoppers at Ski Hi can purchase candy apples, fritters, and pies.

Tumbled Rock Brewery serves craft beer along with meals and hosts live outdoor music events. Al. Ringling Brewing offers German-style beers inspired by a Ringling family recipe, including an Oktoberfest option.

Driftless Glen Distillery on the Baraboo Riverfront pairs spirits with gourmet food. Local wineries such as Baraboo Bluff Winery and Balanced Rock Winery provide wine tastings alongside scenic views of the changing leaves.

Outdoor activities also include walking or cycling along the Baraboo Riverwalk, a three-mile paved path by the river. For those interested in motor sports, Sauk County features an extensive network of ATV/UTV trails covering 1,500 miles.
